Getting Started

The concept of Tern Overgul is very simple. You must go through the maps, twenty in all, in search of better weapons and mission objectives to satisfy. For example, in levels that require the player to destroy a power generator, the portal will not work unless that objective is satisfied. Also, the best way, and maybe the only way to beat Tern Overgul, involves maneuvering the enemies into situations where they can't shoot you but you can shoot them. Also, save up EIN-STIN devices until you face a group of tough enemies or a boss.

The Story

You are Eez Neon, a rookie who has been dispatched to assist scientists at Tern Site 1. Mind-control waves have been emanating from the site and wreaking havoc on the colony of Tern Overgul. Before you know it, you are the only one far enough down in the installation to help the inhabitants of Tern Overgul. You are immune because you carry a strange pendant about your neck that repels the mind-control waves.
