	Contributed by:Ben Okay, a lot of news!! Nethack 3.4.1 has been released, and I've patched this server up to the latest version. I've also worked on making the features of Fyre's Nethack webpage easier to use, as well as streamlining and improving the login script. I still have not managed to Ascend yet, though. Grrrr!

	Contributed by:Ben I'm officially starting this server back up. It's not that it's been down for the past seven months; it's just that I haven't attended to it much and I've stopped talking about it to Nethack players everywhere. Now I'm lucky to get a few players a week whereas at its prime there were on average five people playing Nethack on Fyre simultaneously. I'll be working on things to make my Nethack server unique and to differentiate it from the other servers out there. I'll be playing around with the source code and working on new Perl scripts to transform Nethack multiplayer into a truly more multiplayer experience, with messaging between players and all that good stuff. That's it for now, expect me to start working on this project heavily over winter break.

	Contributed by:Ben Yet another way of viewing the log ... this one is sorted by score and duplicate lines are removed (takes out a lot of rolling for stats and items that you may otherwise see).

	Contributed by:Ben With the newest version of Nethack that I compiled myself (rather than use the pre-made binary), it appears I've broken old saves and bones files :-( If you wish to get your game, please contact me, and I'll make available a backup of your saved game I have. Most people are adjusting smoothly, though. Sorry about this, I didn't realize I had set up some options that had broken the magic numbers. But with that said, check out the dump file that the new compile supports, which is, in text format, a summary of all games played on Fyre since the new Nethack install. Check out a _nicely_ displayed, sorted logfile by finishing score, much thanks to Jukka Lahtinen for the C program to do it all. YAFM: Today is the Ides of April. You feel foolish! 33% of your zorkmids are taken away! -more- You hear the snickering of the IRS in the distance. You see here a fortune cookie. You eat it. Inside is a message that reads: That fortune cookie was rotten! You feel deathly ill! You die ... DYWYPI?
