Go see the Fractals Archive. 5/4/2002   Contributed by:Ben The fractal archive is back up! But now I'm posting only my own fractals, so nobody can possibly bring any complaints against me. In the archive, for each fractal, you'll see two files: a .jpg and a .ufr file. The .jpg is your typical image file, while the .ufr is the set of exact parameters and such that make my fractal. This is where I difference from other "fractal artists" - I freely give away my secrets, hopefully so that everyone is benefitted. By the way, .ufr is a filetype associated with the fractal program Ultra Fractal.   5/1/2002   Contributed by:Ben The fractal archive was taken down for a variety of reasons, but I won't lie to you, the main reason is because of copyright concerns. So I took down the archive, to prevent possibly getting in trouble, and that is that, unless somehow in the future I find it is legal to display the images on a webpage. Oh well.   4/28/2002   Contributed by:Ben The backlog for archived alt.binaries.fractal-art images is complete back until April 12, 2002. I will be archiving periodically the posts from alt.binaries.fractal-art , so this should grow up over time into a very nice comprehensive fractal collection.
