How come the Brits get to pull out soon and we don’t? Why are we escalating rather than drawing down? Over, what, 60% of Americans now want us out of there? This whole thing is just like a damn nightmare that refuses to end until Bush is gone. There’s nothing left for us to accomplish there. At this rate there is nothing more we can accomplish there. I think we should take the United Kingdom’s example and start seriously drawing down our force levels by the end of the year.

And all of this anti-Iran rhetoric is making me very cautious. But Bush isn’t that stupid, right? Right? Bueller?

Update: I really, really, hope that this news isn’t accurate.
