If we impeached Presidents for breaking Constitutional laws all the Presidents in the past hundred years would have been impeached. We should ad an amendment to the constitution that gives an option for the people to impeach with a simple majority vote, instead of relying on the US Senate to what they should. It is certainly a shame that a four-hour-long, thorough indictment isn't getting any attention from the Fourth Estate, but I imagine there is little desire in the media to see Bush impeached either. Sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy. And, yes, I think that the "high crimes and misdemeanors" listed by Rep. Kucinich are indeed valid ones, much more so than others in recent memory. But who wants to promote VP Cheney to the head position? Well, it’s getting little media attention because there’s zero chance of the House leadership letting this go anywhere.
