Oh, man, no way am I proofreading a novel. You're a friend and all, but that's the kind of tedium I'd have to be paid to endure. Proofreading is also my least favorite part of blogging, and thus the most dreaded part. The best thing about NaNoWriMo is that there's no proofreading involved, since the nature of the game means you have to go for pure speed.

I'll read it and give you general comments, but no comments on the level of individual words. And I wouldn't expect anyone to do proofreading for me.

But yes, I am a good proofreader.

It couldn't be worse than what I come up with. You would be a great proofreader too. A grammar-ophile AND a programmer?

That's attention to detail.

Holy God man, you can't start before the 1st of November! Quick, delete the file and forget what you wrote about!

I'm perfectly comfortable with sharing whatever I end up writing; the question is; would you want to read it?

I'm going to do it this year. I wrote chapter one last night. I have a very nebulous story in my head and I fully anticipate my novel about religion, product placement and failed cola companies to be shreddable but I'm going to look at it as a learning experience.

Maybe if I come up with something intelligible we can swap novels...(provided you are comfortable with sharing your quickly manufactured masterpiece)
